Is Creator OS free to use?
Yes. Creator OS is a personal, open-source project — there is no subscription or licence fee. You only pay for any third-party AI or platform services you choose to connect.
Do I need API keys to use it?
Most AI features need a provider key, which you paste into Settings → API Keys. You can also run everything in Local mode with self-hosted models and no keys at all.
Can I run the AI models locally?
Yes. Creator OS has a Local mode that runs self-hosted models — text, image, voice and lip-sync — so you can generate content without sending anything to the cloud.
Which platforms can it publish to?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Mastodon and Discord — from a single composer, once you connect each account.
Is my data private?
Creator OS is single-user and self-hosted. Your content, keys and audience data stay in your own database — nothing is shared with other users or a central service.
How do I get started?
Sign in, complete the onboarding wizard, then add your API keys (or switch on Local mode) in Settings. From there you can record your digital twin and generate your first post.
